There is a new update for Left 4 Dead 2. Specific changes include “The Passing,” which has three new maps, new weekly game modes (Mutations), a new 'uncommon common', new melee weapons, and support for infected bot play in Versus mode. I am in the process of updating the Fragdog.com L4D2 server. The updating is slow due to the fact that everybody is updating their servers and clients right now. I will post an update when the update is complete. You will need to update your client through steam in order to play on the new server. You will also need to be a member of the Fragdog steam group to play on the server. If you’d like to be a member of the Fragdog steam group, let me know what your steam ID is and I’ll add you.

Steam for OSX has been leaked! For those Mac users out there who want to come to LAN parties and play online, here’s a preview of good things that are coming to you. Seeing the steam client in action on a Mac makes me wonder. Will Apple bring Steam to the iPad and/or iPhone for gaming as well? Steam is a huge game platform and they could add a lot of value to those mobile devices by bringing their library to them.

I would expect this sort of thing from somebody like Al Franken, but not Obama.

Dice has released a new patch for BC2 which is reported to fix many bugs.  See the below article for the details, but the patch is on it's way.  Hopefully they'll fix the buggy server issues and the joystick problems.
